TSE 6.0 Technical Updates
Issue: Cannot shadow user sessions from Propalms Console- Monitor-Connections page on an upgraded TSE team from TSE v5 to v6. On a new v6 install it works fine.
Solution: Copy the attached NMShadow.bat file in \system32 directory of all APP servers.

Download from

Issue: Application launch fails when connecting over SPR/DMZ-SPR with SSL enabled, using Java client.
Solution: Replace the JavaPadApplet.jar file on the Propalms Web server \Inetpub\wwwroot\Depot directory with the attached Jar file.

Issue: Installation of APP role or other TSE roles fail in multiple Web server team.
Solution: TSE uses round robin scheme internally to download role install files stored in the depot directory of TSE web servers. When there are multiple web servers, all install files are not present in the Depot directory, as a result role installation though Console- Manage-Servers- Add role may fail. Ensure that the following two files are present in the Depot directory of all online TSE web servers:
  1. Propalms-TSE-Roles.msi
  2. PropalmsHyperPrint.msi

Also note that Depot directory should NOT have SSL enabled in IIS and should ALWAYS have Anonymous access Enabled.

Issue: Set Web site redirection to Propalms Launchpad on Windows 2008
Solution:
  1. Create a blank Default.htm page in \inetpub\wwwroot
  2. Make it the 1st default document for Default Web site
  3. Switch to Content View for Default Web site
  4. Right click on Default.tm page and select ‘Switch to Feature view’
  5. On the Feature view page of Default.htm page, click on the HTTP Redirect
Set the redirection to Launchpad as per attached screen shot.

Apply changes.

This solution should work with

http://server_name
http://server_name/launchpad
http://ip_addr_or_FQDN
